1 billion seconds meets: Emma Clarkson

Emma, how long did you work for The Panel?
Roughly 3.5 years, from early 2006

What area did you recruit for?
I was Office Manager and I also looked after the payroll for the contracts desk.

What is your best memory from that time?
Work socials … Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid wherever we were we always had great team time together.

What have you been doing since?
After leaving The Panel in November 2009 I moved back to the UK. I now work for CEG, a large UK property development and investment business. We have sites and buildings throughout the country and I head up Placemaking. This means that I bring both our existing buildings and developments to life, both before we start on site and the completed development, through conceiving meanwhile uses which can be anything from theatre to sports to live music on development land through to working with occupiers in establishing and running ongoing facilities such as running, car and bike clubs, events and activities. It is tremendously varied and really keeps me busy as well as I get to travel throughout the country (usually tying in a long weekend away and/or a live music gig!)

In 5 words how would you describe The Panel?
A step ahead, Hardworking, well connected, professional, socialable and know how to party!

Emma, many thanks for sharing your memories of your time with us and we wish you all the best!
