Oonagh, how long did you work for The Panel?
Just under 10 years starting in 1995 when it was The Accountants Panel, with Brendan, Paul, and Avril our awesome office manager.
What area did you recruit for?
I started as trainee recruiting part qualified accountants and as the economy and accounting profession grew and diversified I worked on Financial Control, Revenue Recognition and FP&A positions within Industry while also being the Account Manager and was very fortunate to work closely with Paul.
What is your best memory from that time?
The growth due to smart, talented and driven leadership, modernization, people first culture, the expanding talented team and what each one bought to the table and fantastic clients. It was a great time in my life. I am so proud to have worked there.
What have you been doing since?
I left to move to Singapore with my family, I took a break, then worked part-time, then Fergal Gleeson (Panel Alumni) advocated for T+O+M Recruitment to hire me to support a Partner establishing a new office in Singapore. In 2011, We moved to the US and after a break two former colleagues from T+O+M advocated that CrossCountry Consulting hire me as a remote InHouse Recruiter. I currently manage Risk recruitment for DC and enjoy being part of CCC's Talent Acquisitions team (some in Dublin) and supporting our Business. CrossCountry Consulting has close ties to Ireland and high regard for Irish talent.
