Accounts Assistant - Aircraft Leasing
6 month contract

My client, operating in the Aircraft Leasing industry, is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their Finance Team on a 6 month contract to cover Maternity Leave.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Prepare management accounts to P&L and balance sheet stage
• Prepare and enter journals on accounting package
• Group bank reconciliations
• Process supplier invoices
• Creditor reconciliations
• Preparation of customer invoices
• Monthly payment runs
• VAT returns
• Senior management travel expenses
• Expenses analysis and recharges
• Petty cash
• General office admin

Candidates:

• Part-qualified accountant
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with colleagues and build teamwork
• Self-starter willing to learn and take a hands-on approach to tasks
