My client, a communications company based in Dublin South is seeking a bookkeeper for an 8 month contract.
• AP & AR Management
• Process AP & AR invoices onto the financial system
• Manage the AP Ledger & payment runs
• Manage the AR Ledger and chase debt
• Assistance with the preparation of monthly accounts
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintenance of Fixed asset register
• Preparation and filing of various taxation returns, including VAT/RTD etc.
• Filing CSO returns
• Assist with preparation for statutory audit
• Identify/implement improvements in the month end process which will increase financial controls and improve the financial reporting function
• Previous experience working as a bookkeeper
• SAGE/Big Red Book experience is an advantage but not essential
• Strong IT skills (including Excel, Word & Access)
