Chief Compliance Officer
Our client, a leading investment firm, is currently seeking a Senior Vice President to act as Chief Compliance Officer for their Dublin based team. The ideal candidate must have both extensive legal or compliance experience.

The Job:
• Support various business groups on compliance and regulatory matters
• Update and maintain policies, procedures & funds’ compliance program
• Communicate with senior management regarding marketing requirements
• Liaising with other stakeholders to promote a strategic response to regulatory change
• Develop relationships with senior management and firm regulators
• Provide advice & assistance with regulatory matters
• Assess current and future regulatory risk profile
• Develop & evaluate risk implications of regulations & their integration
• Identify conflicts of interest & monitor non-public information & trading activities
• Assist with certain aspects of CBI reporting and staff annual training

The Candidate:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a compliance or legal role, with a finance background
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working as part of a team and embracing a variety of issues
• Experience managing compliance & influencing decisions in a global company
• Strong written and oral communication within all levels of the organization
• Experience with US & European regulations (AIFMD, MIFID and EMIR)
• Experience conducting compliance testing, developing & drafting procedures
• Must hold CBI PCF function (PCF 15 & PCF 39)
• Ability to work with colleagues to devise pragmatic & creative solutions
• Excellent technical, analytical, organizational, & project management skills
• Ability to develop relationships, internally and externally
