Our client is a highly regarded and established professional services firm, based in Dublin city.
Due to the ongoing scaling of the business, the firm is now keen to hire a Director of Operations.
This is a newly created role that will report to the Managing Director.
The following is essential:
Min. 6 years' experience in a Manager/Director of Operations position
Experience gained in another professional services organisation (e.g. a law or accountancy firm) OR in a financial services firm
Be highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
Have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with complex situations in an efficient and professional manner
Operational - day to day running of the office, while working closely with the MD. Oversight of the Mailroom, Facilities, Reception etc
Responsibility for the direction and co-ordination of the Operations Services section day to day duties which involves the operation of the physical building and general staff requirements.
Budget - involvement in the preparation and management of the office annual budget
Costs - completing on-going annual cost reviews with suppliers accordingly
Suppliers - management of key relationships with outsourced suppliers
Reviews - assisting the management team with reviews and implementation of changes in departmental systems and procedures
