The successful candidate will assist in the co‐ordination of the development of architectural frameworks. The Enterprise Architect will work alongside a team of architects within business, application/systems, data/information and technical architecture disciplines.
You will be responsible for the development of a complete set of architectural views for an enterprise in accordance with one of the more common architecture frameworks (e.g. Zachman, TOGAF, DoDAF, MODAF, FEAF).
The ideal candidate will have insurance life & pensions background – understanding policy admin platforms and experience integrating these legacy systems in large scale complex migrations / integration programmes. Ideally looking for someone who has experience of mergers and acquisition in financial services.
It is also important that the candidate can demonstrate some strong business analysis skills and experience, including development of business vision and strategies, functional decomposition, requirements capture, process modelling.
1. 5 to 10 years enterprise background within the FS / Insurance sector, with a Degree in IT or related discipline
2. Strong knowledge of design and architectural patterns.
3. Experience of software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development.
4. Budget creation and management
Also good understanding of
Security, infrastructure, Disaster Recovery and deploying solutions using Agile and DevOps and cloud methodologies.
