Our client is a subsidiary of global biopharmaceutical company.
While they have been operating in Ireland for a number of years, they are now in a position to hire their first permanent, on-site team members to the Irish operation.
As part of this development, our client is now keen to hire a Legal & Compliance Manager.
This role will suit a 2-5 year pqe Lawyer, or a very experienced 'career' Paralegal/Company Secretary.
The keys components of the role include: legal, compliance/regulatory and company secretarial matters - so you must be comfortable with covering all aspects of the role.
As this is the first legal hire for the Irish operation (you will work with external counsel in Ireland and the US), you must have the maturity, gravitas and desire to work in a standalone role. Please note the company is also onboarding a General Manager and Finance Manager (with plans to expand), so you will be working as part of a wider team in Dublin.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-growth environment. As one of the first hires in Dublin, the qualified hire will need to be proactive and hands-on, commercially-minded and motivated by the opportunity to get in at the ground floor of a company that has aggressive growth plans.
