Risk & Compliance Manager, part time Funds/Real Estate (20 hours per week)
We are currently working on an exclusive basis with an Irish firm who wish to hire an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager. This firm operates in the Real Estate/Funds space. This individual will report to the Head of Finance and to the board. The company employs 17 people and plans to grow this number over the next 12 months. This individual will be responsible for setting up and managing the risk and compliance function.
•Develop a robust compliance and risk management framework for the organisation
•Review commercial agreements / SLA’s with third party providers
•Ensure the organisation meets all the legislative requirements e.g. GDPR, CP86 etc.
•Monitor regulatory changes and ensure full compliance with these changes
•Undertake such special projects as may be directed from time to time by the CEO/Head of Finance/Board
•Minimum 5 years’ experience dealing with legal, compliance and risk management matters
•Recognised qualification in compliance, risk management, legal or financial services
•Strong knowledge of the funds industry regulatory framework of the Republic of Ireland
•Experience in the commercial property industry would be an advantage
•Excellent stakeholder management and advisory skills
•Excellent project management and communication skills
My client is looking for someone who has operated at a senior level in a risk and compliance role. They need to demonstrate they have experience working closely with senior management team and have reported to the board.
