On Thursday, 7th March, 100 Women in Finance, Dublin (“100WF”) marked International Women’s Day by inviting members and guests to a fully subscribed educational session at Avolon’s hugely impressive new office in Ballsbridge. The  event was entitled – “The Sky’s the Limit for Aviation; Will Current Headwinds Change Its Flight Path?”.

The event looked at the challenges that lies ahead for the industry and how Avolon approaches its D&I metrics for the company. Interesting and active audience participation led to a very interesting panel discussion. The event was opened by John Higgins (Chief Commercial Officer, Avolon).

Speakers included: Lynn Guiney (Head of EMEA, Avolon), Victoria Goodenough (Executive Director, Aviation Syndication EMEA, Natixis), Fiona McCabe (Head of Investment Management, IDA Ireland) and Mary O’Neill (Partner, Aviation Finance Lawyer, Maples & Calder). The event was moderated by Eoin Reddan (VP of Marketing, Avolon).

The Panel would like to congratulate 100WF on another inspirational event, and to the event sponsors Avolon for hosting a fantastic event. Special thanks to the 100WF organisers Vanora Madigan (Director, DMS Governance), Ciara McGuinness (Senior Financial Professional) and Deirdre O'Reilly (iNED) for all their work in putting this event together.

Representing The Panel at this event was Anne Keys (Joint Managing Partner), Sarah Kelly (Partner, Legal & HR), Richard Goggin (Associate Director, Financial Services), Evan Farren (Recruitment Consultant, Legal & HR), Jill Kellegher (Senior Resourcer), and Mal Convery (Senior Digital Marketing  Executive).
