The Panel is exclusively engaged to source a Compliance Officer on behalf of a newly established Manco in Dublin city centre on a permanent basis
Reporting to the group’s Chief Compliance Officer, this role is based in Dublin and you will act as
support to the Designated Person for Regulatory Compliance and Distribution. This role will
include, amongst other things, assisting the Firm to meet its regulatory obligations as set out
under CBI Rules (CP86) and within the Firm’s Business Plan, and ensuring compliance with
AIFMD and UCITS regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the local Compliance Officer and the Compliance team to maintain the profile of the compliance department and helping to provide positive and practical assistance to the business, whilst maintaining appropriate regulatory control.
- Taking ownership of tasks and processes within the Compliance department; ensuring that tasks are delivered within the agreed timeframes.
- To work in partnership with Senior Management and the business ensuring the promotion of ‘good practice Compliance’ and maintaining a strong and positive compliance culture.
- Assisting with the risk-based monitoring programme.
- Preparing and submitting regulatory reports (both AIFMD and UCITS) via ONR
- Reviewing marketing and client documentation to ensure that it is fair, clear, and not misleading.
- Assisting with marketing registration for the Firm’s investment products.
- Proactively keeping up to date with regulatory developments and updating internal policies and procedures from time to time.
Requirements
- A motivated self starter, inquisitive, tenacious, able to meet strict deadlines, pro-active, possessing strong presentational and inter-personal skills.
- Previous compliance experience in a Fund Administration/Asset Management environment
- Understanding of a broad range of asset classes, including complex fixed income products and derivatives would also be advantageous.
The salary for this role is negotiable depending on experience and includes bonus potential of up to 40% as well as other benefits
