My client, a global renewable energy company headquartered in Dublin City is seeking a part-time Global Tax Manager on a 12-month contract basis to join their finance team, covering a maternity leave. This role is 3-days (22 hours approx.) Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will oversee all tax matters in the group, considering tax compliance, transfer pricing, tax structuring, tax risks and advising the Senior Management Team in tax related matters among others.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with tax due diligence, acquisitions/disposals including reviewing and post implementation of transaction documents and Revenue engagement where necessary.
- Liaise regularly and manage engagement with the external tax advisors and internal teams acting as key point of contact on tax matters.
- In conjunction with Finance managers, assist/review the tax compliance requirements, computations and payments including corporation tax, transfer pricing, VAT, payroll taxes, withholding taxes and stamp duties.
- Guide the financing teams in the tax implications and structuring of transactions including US tax equity and other ad hoc projects including acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals, financings, refinancing and reorganisations.
- Identify, monitor and manage areas of tax risk.
- Assist with tax considerations associated with investor transactions.
- Management of tax budget and implementation of tax savings for the business
Requirements:
- Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) essential, ACA qualification preferable
- Corporate Tax experience, international tax knowledge preferable
- Strong commercial acumen and an interest in renewable/sustainability sector
- Advanced Excel and IT skills – SUN software advantageous
- Strong communicator with attention to detail
