Established in 1987, The Panel is wholly Irish-owned and managed, and is one of the country's longest-established specialist recruiters. Founded by Brendan Burgess as The Accountant's Panel, the business was rebranded as The Panel in 2010 when Joint Managing Partners Anne Keys and Paul McArdle took over, widening the firm from its financial services roots to cover nine core professional disciplines. The Panel serves clients from start-ups through to multinationals, handling permanent, contract, and executive search mandates. It is headquartered at 21 Northumberland Road, Dublin 4. The Panel operates as a specialist desk model, with each sector led by a partner or director who previously worked in that industry. The consulting team covers executive search, retained search, contingent recruitment, contract and payroll management, recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), benchmarking, market mapping, and foreign direct investment (FDI) advisory.
