Our client, a SEC registered Institutional Asset Manager, is seeking to hire an European Financial Controller to manage their finance and control team in Dublin and act as office head in Ireland. This individual manage a small team and continue to service their growing European business.

- Managing financial reporting, audit, budgeting, technical accounting and tax support process
- Track record in leading local audits and statutory accounts in several European countries
- Advise on complex accounting of transactions
- Oversee reconciliation process with admin, expense allocation, internal booking
- Manager of team of accountants based in Dublin
- Responsible for review of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts of European entities
- Responsible for technical accounting analysis on new deals and restructuring
- Responsible for audit and regulatory reviews
The Candidate
- min 10+ years’ experience in either audit, or as a Fund Accountant, or as a Product Controller
- Accounting qualification is essential
- Detailed knowledge of US, Irish and Luxembourg GAAP, IFRS
- Strong technical accounting skills and exposure to structured products is an advantage - ICAV and Section 110
- Ability to coach and manage a team of accountants
- Strong communication skills with overseas finance teams and senior stakeholders
