My client, a large retail group based in West Dublin are seeking a Management Accountant to join their growing team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for supervision of the finance team and developing controls and procedures to improve processes.
Hybrid is available after probation, with a strong benefits and bonus package.

Responsibilities:
- Management and oversight of banking and supervision posting of lodgements
- Daily Bank Reconciliations
- Staff Payroll Monthly Staff Payroll Processing
- Accounts Receivable Management of cash collections to ensure targets are achieved
- Allocation of Cash Received from Customer clearing down paid invoices
- Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) Stock Invoice Matching, & Processing
- Management & Follow-Up of Discrepancies and Internal Net Pricing Account
- Review and reporting on account aged balances
- Monthly & Ad-Hoc Recharge Invoices e.g. Company Monthly Contribution
- Processing of Expense and Carrier Invoices
- Settlement Discounts Computation of Monthly Settlement Discounts due to Customers
- Stock Control – Management of the Invoice Matching System for Goods Received
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the key commercial teams
- Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth
- Collaborate with executive leadership to contribute to the development and execution of the group's financial strategies and long-term business plans
- Communicate financial results, insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively to senior management, board members, and other relevant stakeholders
- Etc.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with 5+ years’ experience
- Proven office and team management experience
- Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Proficient in MS Office, advanced excel user
- Proficient in SAP Business One or similar ERP system
