Our client, a leading private investment firm, is currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Dublin (city centre) team on a 12-month contract.
This position offers a unique opportunity to oversee the financial accounting for a diverse portfolio of entities within a complex, multi-jurisdictional group, supporting both strategic and operational finance functions across multiple asset classes.

This position offers a unique opportunity to oversee the financial accounting for a diverse portfolio of entities within a complex, multi-jurisdictional group, supporting both strategic and operational finance functions across multiple asset classes.
The Job:
- Oversee the integrity of accounting ledgers, handling tasks such as intercompany reconciliations and bank reconciliations across jurisdictions, including Jersey and Switzerland.
- Prepare and report on management information, including cash flow forecasting and participating in budgeting and reforecasting processes, providing key analytical insights.
- Lead month-end and year-end consolidations, contributing to the group’s financial consolidation process.
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist in preparing financial statements under Swiss GAAP, IFRS, and FRS 102.
- Collaborate with the Group Finance team to drive efficiency improvements and leverage technology in financial processes, championing positive change.
The Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant with 2 - 5 years pqe, ideally in financial reporting consolidation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with general proficiency in financial systems; familiarity with SunSystems, Q&A, or PowerBI is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
- A collaborative, adaptable team player with a proactive, self-motivated approach to contributing to business success.
