Our client, a leading private investment firm, is currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Dublin (city centre) team on a 9-month contract.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to support financial accounting across a complex, multi-jurisdictional group, contributing to both strategic and operational finance functions.

The Job:
- Manage the integrity of accounting ledgers, including tasks such as intercompany and bank reconciliations, covering multiple jurisdictions such as Jersey and Switzerland.
- Prepare management information and cash flow forecasts, actively participating in annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting, with a focus on analytical insights.
- Lead month-end and year-end consolidations, supporting the group’s overall financial consolidation process.
- Assist in external audit processes and prepare financial statements under Swiss GAAP, IFRS, and FRS 102.
- Collaborate with the Group Finance team to drive efficiency, enhance financial transformation processes, and champion the adoption of new technologies.
The Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant with 2+ years PQE, particularly in financial reporting consolidation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; knowledge of SunSystems, Q&A, or PowerBI is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a detail-oriented and analytical approach.
- A collaborative, adaptable team player who is proactive and motivated to contribute to business success.
