FP&A Manager
My client is a large group, based in Westmeath. Due to continued growth internationally, they are now looking to recruit a commercially focused FP&A Manager.
Reports to: CFO
The FP&A Manger supports the Group by providing detailed cost and financial analysis to improve financial performance. The primary responsibility of the FP&A Manger is to generate and execute on cost saving opportunities and provide analysis to commercial, operations and finance teams to maximise performance. This highly commercial role involves working on multiple projects simultaneously across multiple locations. The role requires strong analytical skills, high accuracy levels and attention to detail, as well as strong business acumen.

Responsibilities
- Drives improvement across the Group by analysing existing business processes and performance including profitability analysis – by product, by customer, by location
- Identifies opportunities for improvement in areas such as purchasing, procurement of services, staffing and all direct and indirect costs and works with the relevant teams to implement improvements
- Supports decision making by providing accurate cost benefit analysis and carries out Capital business case preparation and analysis
- Carries out profitability analysis of specific products and technical services projects and recommends improvement actions
- Ensures benefit realisation by carrying out post completion/implementation look-back evaluation and following through to ensure benefits have been realized
- Development and implementation of reporting systems in conjunction with IT
- Provides ad hoc financial analysis, variance analysis and detailed reports as required
The person:
- Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 6 years’ pqe
- Previous experience of working in an fp&a role at a senior level
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across the Group and with senior managers
- Ability to analyse data, identify opportunities and make business case as appropriate
- Ability to manage change and improvement projects across a number of locations
- Experience in using business systems to analyse and monitor performance and proficiency with MS Office
Salary: €110k - €130k plus benefits.
