The Job:
- Prepare monthly accounts: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow.
- Support year-end statements and liaise with auditors.
- Assist with budgeting and reforecasts.
- Manage credit control and collect outstanding debts.
- Monitor accounts, resolve payment issues, and reconcile balances.
- Resolve queries on invoicing, payments, and discrepancies.
- Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, forecasting, and reporting.
- Oversee payroll accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and statutory returns.
- Streamline financial processes for efficiency.
- Support ERP implementation and automation.
- Monitor inventory to align with records.
The Person:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Background in manufacturing or FMCG is highly preferred.
- Experienced in credit control, cash management, and resolving customer account issues.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, bank reconciliations, and Irish tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Sage 200 or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, supportive team environment.
