The Job:
- Assist with month-end accounts, including stock, bank, intercompany, and other reconciliations.
- Ensure account accuracy by collaborating with finance, commercial, and admin teams.
- Monitor budget and target compliance.
- Process payroll and expenses with timely reporting.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports and support the finance team.
- Coordinate month-end closing and provide reporting/analysis.
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts (e.g., stock, payroll, VAT).
- Prepare audit files and assist with financial tasks/projects.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
The Person:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or accounting technician.
- 3+ years’ accounting experience. (Motor industry experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits).
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software; strong analytical skills.
- Experienced in monthly accounts, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and accurate.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
