An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Distribution (DP role) within a dynamic and innovative ManCo. Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee an effective distribution oversight framework across UK and European based entities.
- Liaise with responsible parties to ensure consistency between countries where a Fund is registered for offering and the domicile of the targeted investor sector.
- Ensure compliance of distribution activities with relevant regulations at all times.
- Oversee proposed changes to fund offering documentation, including fund prospectuses and KIDs.
- Collaborate with various teams regarding the registration of UK and EU based funds in new jurisdictions.
- Review monthly and quarterly reports covering distribution patterns and sales flows.
- Supervise and monitor EU and EAA passporting notifications.
- Lead the implementation of required actions in response to regulatory changes.
- Identify areas for improvement in distribution oversight processes and documentation.
- Provide training, advice, and guidance to the distribution team.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a relevant funds-related distribution focused role in an asset manager.
- Deep knowledge of UCITS products and experience with MiFID entities.
- Strong understanding of the UK, Irish, and EU regulatory environments for asset managers.
- Gravitas to engage and influence senior stakeholders, exco and board members across their international business.
- Happy to work in a small high performing team, roll up their sleeves and get things done within a fast paced environment.
