Our client an international healthcare group based in North Dublin, is currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Lead to guide the day-to-day activity of our HR and Finance functions. This position suits someone who enjoys working closely with teams, understands how to keep operational activity running smoothly, and is confident engaging with colleagues across different backgrounds and locations. You will oversee both functions, provide direction, and ensure information flows clearly to senior management.
In this role, you will take responsibility for direct line management of the Finance and HR teams, ensuring targets are met and that remote and hybrid team members feel fully supported. You will help shape processes, improve performance, and contribute to a working culture where people can do their best work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Finance and HR teams, setting clear goals and monitoring progress.
- Oversee daily activity across both functions, including:
- Budget preparation and management
- Financial reporting and controls, with a focus on KPI tracking
- Compensation and benefits
- Compliance with relevant local legislation
- Maintain oversight of team deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs from remote and hybrid colleagues.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and future growth.
- Prepare and present reports with practical insights for the COO and senior leadership.
- Manage compliance requirements across Finance and HR, ensuring alignment with internal policies and country-specific obligations.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support broader business activity.
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years’ experience in operational and line management roles within Finance, HR, or similar business functions.
- A strong background in managing remote and hybrid teams, ensuring consistent delivery and performance.
- Demonstrated experience in process oversight, people management, and structured reporting.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks.
- Confident communication and strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid setting with periodic international travel to Dubai
- An MBA or equivalent qualification is required.
