My client is a growing Irish sme in the tech sector, offering business to business services.
They are currently recruiting for a commercially minded Financial Controller to join their leadership team. Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will form a very important part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and help manage the day-to-day running of the company, ensuring financial stability, operational excellence, and people engagement while embedding the right systems and processes to scale the business
This position requires a blend of strategic insight and practical execution – suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, solutions-driven environment and can balance commercial, operational, and people priorities.
Main duties:
Salary: €100k - €120k depending on experience, plus benefits.

Main duties:
- Lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting.
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts and Board reports.
- Working Capital management, including Debtors and Cash flow forecasting.
- Annual Budgeting and reforecasting throughout the year.
- Drive profitability and margin improvement across the company.
- Oversee financial controls, compliance, audit and tax requirements.
- Provide financial analysis to support tenders, investments and commercial decisions.
- Cost Management and review of major accounts.
- Build financial models to assess new revenue streams and investment opportunities.
- Manage and develop the finance team
- Assist with strategic planning
- Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5–7 years’ pqe in a senior finance leadership role,
- Proven track record in a senior finance role with financial management, commercial awareness and operational oversight.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong People Management Skills
- Strategic thinker
