Our client is a well-regarded professional services firm with a broad and growing corporate services offering, advising an impressive portfolio of clients across general corporate, commercial, and multi-sector mandates. With real ambition to further develop its company secretarial function, the firm is now seeking a Senior Company Secretary to take ownership of this practice area and help shape its future.

You will take responsibility for the delivery of a full range of company secretarial services to a diverse client base spanning general corporate, commercial, and multi-sector mandates. Working in close partnership with the firm's leadership, you will play a central role in further building out the corporate secretarial offering.
Please note: software, systems, frameworks are already in place and there is active client work – so this is not a greenfield site, but rather a developed area what is ready to be further developed.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the delivery of a full range of company secretarial services to a diverse client base spanning general corporate, commercial, and multi-sector mandates. Working in close partnership with the firm's leadership, you will play a central role in further building out the corporate secretarial offering.

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive company secretarial services to a portfolio of corporate and commercial clients across a range of industry sectors
- Manage the full lifecycle of company formations, dissolutions, restructurings, and corporate changes
- Prepare and file statutory returns and CRO documentation, ensuring compliance across all client entities
- Organise and administer board and shareholder meetings, drafting agendas, minutes, and resolutions to a high standard
- Maintain statutory registers and oversee all company record-keeping obligations
- Advise clients and internal stakeholders on Companies Act compliance and governance best practice
- Identify opportunities to develop and scale the corporate secretarial offering, contributing to the firm's strategic growth
- Build and manage client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser on all company secretarial matters
Requirements / Candidate Profile
- ICSA/CGI qualified (or equivalent), with solid post-qualification experience in a company secretarial role
- Background in a professional services environment — accountancy practice, law firm, or dedicated company secretarial services business is ideal
- Strong working knowledge of Irish company law, CRO filings, and corporate governance obligations
- Proven ability to manage a varied client portfolio independently and to a high standard
- Commercially aware, with strong communication and relationship skills
- Ambitious and proactive — someone who sees genuine career development opportunity in taking ownership of a function
