The Panel attends the Winmark & Northern Trust – Boards and General Counsels event
Thursday 23rd of November, saw the last of this years Winmark Global events in collaboration with Northern Trust. The Panel were delighted to be involved and attend.
Our Legal Partner Sarah Kelly was delighted to attend and support another event featuring John Jeffcock.
This event was a collaboration between Winmark and Northern Trust and featured panelists Michael Greene (Independent Non-Executive Chairman, Kestra Medical Technologies), Amanda Zahringer (Chair of the Supervisory Review Panel, The Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland), and Jeanne Kelly (President, British Irish Chamber of Commerce). The chair for the event was Grainne Dooley (iNED Director, Northern Trust).
The panel shared their thoughts and advice on:
- How GCs can establish a flourishing career with Boards.
- What Boards want and expect from their Executives, particularly the GC role.
- How to work with and manage NEDs and the Board.
- How best to join a Board and what Boards look for when recruiting new NEDs.
