IACT Breakfast Briefing: Corporate Governance
Thursday, November 9th, the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers (IACT) invited interested parties to their latest breakfast briefing.
The event held at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Dublin, offered an excellent panel discussion to start the day with.
As per the title of the event – “Corporate Governance: Management’s Role in Setting up the Board for Success”, speakers delved into various aspects of corporate governance, such as management role, governance systems, assurance of performance, assurance of conformance, strategies, and things directors must do achieve success.
Many thanks to guest speakers Dr Margaret Cullen (Governance Advisor to the Institute of Directors in Ireland) and Niall Best (Partner, McCann FitzGerald LLP). The event was opened by the President of the IACT, Aimee Cullen.
