The Panel sponsor basis.point spring lunch 2024
The Panel, lead sponsor at this years basis.point spring lunch.
Friday, May 3rd, basis.point spring lunch was back at the Roundroom at the Mansion House and The Panel was delighted to be a lead sponsor with Confluence and BNY Mellon. We were pleased to sponsor the spot prizes for one lucky winner at each table.
As always the spring lunch is a great occasion with opportunities to network and catch up with clients and connections from the Irish funds industry.
It was an event for celebration and change, as the basis.point committee said farewell to outgoing Chair Clive Bellows, and committee members Fiona Mulchay and Adrian Waters. Whilst welcoming the new Chair, Eoin FitzGerald and committee members Laura Trimble and Paul Kilcullen. It also saw the inaugural Paul McNaughton Award being received by Josephine Bleach from the ELI.
Attendees listened to community home visit liaison officer Linda, who spoke of her journey supported by the funds raised by basis.point.
It was fantastic to learn that to date, basis.point has raised over €6.1 million for their ten educational partners Archways, Business in the Community Ireland, DCU Access, DCU Educational Trust, Early Learning Initiative, Foróige, Kinia, Teen-Turn, Limerick Youth Service, and Technological University Dublin.
As always, the fundraising auction was overseen by the enigmatic Sean Buckley, who kept the audience entertained and engaged.
Attending on behalf of The Panel were Anne Keys (Managing Partner), Liam Murphy (Associate Director), Andrew Wynne (Recruitment Manager), and Mal Convery (Marketing Manager).
A big thank you to all those who came up to speak with our colleague Olivia at our table in the foyer.
