The GLOSS X Goodbody Gala 2025 – Courage leads the way

Our colleagues Anne Keys, Ildiko Kiss, Ailbhe Mullen, and Deborah Bradshaw represented us at THE GLOSS X Goodbody Annual Gala yesterday, at the RDS. The ladies and guests joined the over 1,650 fellow attendees for an evening of fashion, great food, amazing prizes, and insightful talks.

Guests were treated to a fantastic performance by the Dublin Gay Men’s Chorus outside the RDS as they entered the venue, a great way to kick off the event.

Michelle O’Keefe (Head of Wealth Advisory at Goodbody Stockbrokers) officially welcomed all the guests and gave an overview of their survey on women and financial autonomy. Click to find out more about the Investment Club.

This year’s theme was ‘The Miracle of Courage ‘. It featured a fascinating and solemn speech by Lara Marlowe (Journalist & War Reporter), who, with over 30 years in the media, spoke of the inspirational encounters she has experienced during her career and time at the frontline. How amid all the glamour of the night, thoughts go to all those who bravely stand up for themselves, others, and their countries.

Keynote speaker Trinny Woodall (Entrepreneur and Founder of cosmetics brand Trinny London) spoke about her journey, her courage as a mum, and the kind of mum she wanted to be for her daughter.

“Feel the fear and do it anyway”

It was a privilege to listen to both of their stories.

The event also featured the highly anticipated LOOK THE BUSINESS fashion show, with both Irish and international brands on show.
