PRMIA Ireland – Individual Accountability Framework – are you ready?
On Wednesday May 8th, PRMIA Ireland held their latest in person event: "Individual Accountability Framework". The event was kindly hosted by PwC.
The event was opened by Regional Director, PRMIA Ireland Alan Bluett, and featured Gerry Cross, Director of Financial Regulation Policy and Risk, Central Bank of Ireland.
In an insightful session, Gerry discussed his thoughts on the (Individual Accountability Framework) Act 2023 and he spoke of the Senior Executive Accountability Regime (SEAR), Conduct Standards, Enhancements to the current Fitness & Probity Regime (F&P), and Amendments to the Administrative Sanctions Procedure (ASP).
Attendees also listened to an IAF panel discussion with Gerry Cross, Sarah Daly (Chief Compliance Officer at Bank of Montreal Europe), Julie Kennedy (Partner, FS Risk and reg at PwC), and Muireann O’Keeffe (Director, FS Risk and Reg at PwC). Sinead Ovenden (Partner PwC) acted as moderator for the panel discussion and the Q&A at the end of the event.
