The Panel is currently engaged to source an Operational Due Diligence Senior Specialist on behalf of a growing Manco in Cork City
The successful candidate will be exposed to many aspects of the Management Company and its funds and will also play an important role in ensuring the service provider oversight and governance framework is implemented and maintained.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial review and analysis of operational due diligence questionnaires on service providers appointed by the Management Company, including Portfolio Managers, Investment Advisors, Fund Administrators and other key delegates
- Perform ongoing oversight on appointed service providers, partaking in due diligence review meetings, tracking risk events and resulting actions
- Produce and present high-quality due diligence reports which include clear, concise opinions
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of service providers on the online due diligence platform
- Production of operational due diligence and operational risk reporting for internal and external governance committees
- Managing service provider risk events, assist with the review, assessment, analysis and oversight of incidents and resulting action plans
- Responsible for drafting and updating team procedures on an ongoing basis
- Manage assigned projects to completion, which may involve engagement with internal groups located in multiple regions including the UK, and the United States
Requirements
- University degree in a related and relevant subject is required
- Must have experience in an investment management firm or similar financial services firm with a core understanding of the financial services industry
- Experience with third-party or intra-group outsourcing advantageous
- Knowledge of the portfolio management process and core activities within investment management beneficial
