Finance Manager
My client is a technology-based company that provides innovative and practical solutions for the agricultural and food sectors.
Reporting to the CFO and working with senior management, the Finance Manager will have a key role with responsibility for the Finance Function. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the finance function of a multi-company international focused business. The role will deal with all levels within the group from staff to board level as well as liaison with outside stakeholders. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work at home and from our Dublin office.

The role:
- Management of day to day finance function including preparation of management and statutory accounts and annual filings. Overseeing all financial control activities, e.g., month-end close process, preparation and review of management accounts, comprehensive balance sheet substantiation.
- Ensure that a full suite of management information for monitoring the performance of the Company is prepared and reviewed within reporting deadlines.
- Providing executive management with high-quality financial information, summarising budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to guide effective policy making and financial strategy including reporting to the Board of Directors.
- Manage existing finance team.
- Lead External Audit engagements and Internal Audit review and subsequent closure of any relevant recommendations. Ensure the reliability of the financial reporting (internal and external reporting).
- Regularly monitoring the firm’s capital adequacy and working as necessary with management team and outside investors to ensure that sufficient own funds are maintained at all times.
- Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
- Liaising with outside firm to manage corporate secretarial process.
- Supporting CFO and Commercial team in revenue attainment through contract, costing and pricing assistance.
The person:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA ) with at least 3 years’ pqe.
- Solid knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and tax.
- Strong analytical skills
