Company Secretary & (Senior) Legal Counsel - PLC

Our client is a successful Plc organisation with a significant global presence. 
The business has a large, established company secretarial team and a separate legal function.

This is a unique opportunity (and a newly created role) for an experienced legal counsel to join the team.

• Ideal candidates will be qualified solicitors (or barristers who have worked in-house) who have experience of company secretarial duties and an interest in supporting the company secretarial function from both a legal and company secretarial perspective.
• You must have previous experience and a good understanding of how boards work and how to advise them from a legal perspective.
• Strong relationship management experience is essential (ideally exposure to managing international relationships).

This is a blended ‘legal – company secretarial’ role where the successful candidate will be the sole legal adviser to the co sec team.

Will suit legal professionals with 5-12 years pqe.

Please note, this position sits with the company secretarial team (there are nine on the team in total) and will report to the Group Company Secretary.

Hybrid working arrangements (3 days onsite in Dublin, 2 remote).
