Our client, a niche consultancy firm, is seeking a Senior Manager/Associate Director Risk Consulting to join their newly created risk insurance consulting team. This is an unique opportunity to work alongside a Senior Director tasked with developing and growing their risk consulting offering. You will gain excellent experience on interesting risk projects (climate change, digitalisation & AI) with key insurance clients, manage client relationships and be involved in business development. The Job
The Job
- Supporting clients in risk and capital management projects with a strong focus on Solvency II and new requirements from the CBI and EIOPA.
- Working with the Research and Development team to research new and exciting areas of risk management, such as climate change, digitalisation and AI. This may include working with colleagues in other company offices.
- Working with the Marketing team to draft briefing notes and articles to market risk and capital management initiatives.
- Building relationships with key clients and meeting with new potential clients.
- Working closely with senior consultants to develop a risk and capital management team to support the company's strategic priorities.
- You have min 5+ experience in risk management in the financial services sector ideally in risk consulting with a key focus on insurance or be working in Risk in the insurance industry & you want to develop your career in consulting.
- Technical expertise is a must have - strong analytical and quantitative abilities, proficient in Excel and other analytical tools.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a relevant field.
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, in addition to possessing a strong technical mindset.
- A self-starter and an effective communicator. You will be willing to lead more junior staff members, such as trainees and interns, on client projects as required.
