Finance Manager
My client is a leading provider of employee wellbeing programs. Due to an internal promotion they are now looking to recruit an ambitious Finance Manager for their Dublin office.
Main duties:
Management Accounts
• Prepare, validate, and present monthly management accounts.
• Support in the preparation of the weekly and monthly board reporting.
• Ensure company accounts are up to date and complete, and take full
responsibility for accuracies in accounting journals, ledgers, and entries.
• Ensure systems and procedures are in place to maximize revenue recognition for the company including oversight of invoicing process.
Global Payroll Infrastructure
• Ongoing management of Irish payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance with
relevant tax and employee benefit systems.
• Management and reporting of agency payrolls in other jurisdictions.
• Researching and supporting implementation of global payroll partnerships.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
• Assist CFO in preparation of annual budgets and forecast updates.
• Produce detailed reports on financial performance vs budget around revenues,
gross margin, and costs to support business decision making.
• Manage cashflow forecasting, and lead in the implementation of initiatives to
improve net working capital.
• Provide ah-hoc analysis on performance, and variances to budget for CFO.
Statutory and Fiscal Compliance
• Prepare, present, and file all necessary regulatory and legal returns.
• Research opportunities to optimize efficient tax compliance.
• Assist external accounting firm in all matters relating to audit and tax compliance.
Process, Controls and Systems
• Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place throughout the organization.
• Drive initiatives to automate, simplify and optimize business processes.
• Provide training and guidance to support new systems and process changes.
• Lead customer and supplier/contractor initiatives to improve DSO and DPO days.
The person:
• Qualified Accountant with 3+ years’ pqe
• Proven experience managing a finance function with international stakeholders.
• Experience in setting up new finance processes an advantage
• Great attention to detail, with strength in analyzing and presenting financial data.
Salary: €80k - €90k plus benefits
