The Candidate

• 10 years or more experience in ESG and Sustainability Reporting
• Familiarity with emerging trends and best practices in ESG reporting and sustainability metrics
• Proven track record in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of ESG initiatives
• Strong knowledge of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) frameworks and standards such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD
• Profound understanding of significant ESG Regulations, encompassing the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, EU Taxonomy, UK Climate Related Financial Disclosures, International Sustainability Standards Board,
• Background in consulting and/or client-facing roles
• Demonstrated track record in identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
• Strong multitasking abilities, adept at managing multiple engagements simultaneously
• Proficient in written and oral communication, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration within teams and effectively engaging with individuals across all organizational levels
• Sound analytical and quantitative skills, with comfort in working with numerical data and exhibiting critical thinking capabilities

The Role

• Lead business development efforts and contribute to proposal development for potential clients
• Lead training sessions and workshops to enhance internal capabilities in ESG reporting and sustainability practices
• Oversee the delivery of engagements
• Provide supervision, mentorship, and coaching to junior staff, with a focus on maintaining high quality standards
• Assist in managing client relationships and ensuring consistent, top-tier engagement delivery
• Contribute to the design, promotion, and execution of ESG Reporting campaigns
• Budgeting and monitoring the financial performance of engagements in alignment with agreed parameters
• Support the organization's broader sustainability agenda by identifying opportunities for operational improvements and resource efficiency measures.
• Cultivate strong relationships with internal colleagues and external clients
