My client, based in North Dublin, is a growing construction group with operations in Ireland and the UK. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working alongside the Office Manager this role will cover all aspects of the AP function.
This is a hybrid role with growth opportunities for an experienced AP accountant with construction experience.

Responsibilities:
- Posting subcontractor payment certs to the subcontractor ledger
- Processing subcontractor payments through ROS
- Matching purchase orders and posting of purchase invoices
- Posting weekly purchase ledger payments and reconciliation of bank account monthly
- Posting general ledger payments and cash receipts
- Reconciling RCT payments monthly and bringing any errors to the attention of the FC
- Dealing with queries from the quantity surveyors in relation to invoices and payments
- Reconciling sub-contractor and supplier accounts monthly
- Other ad hoc duties requested by the Financial Controller
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in a high volume AP role
- Clear understanding of ROS and the RCT system
- Construction experience preferred
- MS & ERP experience essential – Coins an advantage
- Ability to work under own initiative to complete tasks
