My client, a highly successful manufacturing group with an international presence and based in Louth, is currently recruiting for an experienced PQ Accountant to join their growing Finance team. Reporting to the Management Accountant this highly visible role is to provide to provide business data and analysis to managers within the organisation to assist in business decision-making and control.
Working closely with the FC and other senior members of the team this is an excellent opportunity for a confident and broadly experienced candidate. There is a strong possibility of permanency following completion of the 6-Month contract period.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reconciliations of all bank accounts across multiple currencies
- Reconciliation of Key Balance sheet accounts monthly and quarterly basis
- Generating accruals for management accounts from Concur and PO system
- Ensure all coding from Debtors and Creditors posting are correct
- Maintain and update Fixed Asset register monthly, run depreciation for all divisions
- Assist the Management Accountant and Finance Manager on External Audit process
- Support the Management Accountant and Finance Manager to meet the business needs
- Maintain and reconcile Petty Cash
- Distribute various reports to heads of departments for their overhead spend in the month
- Involvement in ad hoc projects as required
Requirements:
- PQ with a view to completing exams
- Experience in high growth, fast-paced environment, preferably FMCG
- Experience working with senior management team, proactive approach
