Newly registered opportunity - August 24 - Regulatory Counsel

Our client is a hugely successful financial services organisation with an established legal and regulatory team.

Due to continued growth across business lines they are now keen to hire a Regulatory Counsel to the team.
The position reports to the General Counsel and sits with the wider legal team.

• Ideal candidates will have 3-6 years pqe with experience gained advising across financial regulatory matters relating to regulated and unregulated entities.
• You will be the key contact for the regulators and will have responsibility for keeping up to date on key regulatory changes and industry trends.
• Part of the role will involve managing and further developing compliance and supervisory frameworks including assistance in drafting risk assessment papers and policies and procedures.
• In addition you will prepare authorisation applications with the CBI, prepare regulations due diligence in relation to any acquisitions, instruct external counsel and deliver reg training where required.

This position will suit qualified Solicitors or Barristers with significant financial regulatory experience, either from a leading law firm or from another in-house team.
