My client, a large retail group based in West Dublin, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their growing team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will provide support to the Finance and Management team.
Responsibilities
·Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and board reporting packs.
·Reconcile balance sheet control accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
·Oversee debtor and creditor management processes.
·Prepare month-end lead schedules for the Group Financial Controller.
·Assist with the creation of annual budgets and monthly financial outlooks.
·Evaluate costs and implement processes to identify potential savings.
·Assist with statutory annual accounts audits.
·Manage the invoice financing facility, including returns and audits.
·Monitor and report on cash flow.
·Assist in preparation of Monthly Management Accounts & Board
Requirements
·Qualified Accountant
·4+ years’ experience in industry or practice dealing with industry clients
·Experience with several ERP systems advantageous.
