Our client, a renowned global powerhouse in financial services and leasing is seeking a commercial Finance Director to spearhead their finance activities in Ireland. As a strategic partner to the Global Executive Director, you'll be at the helm of driving profitability, overseeing financial operations, and shaping the future of this highly successful industry-leading organization.
Your Impact:
- Financial Mastery: Oversee all local Finance and Accounting functions, including Treasury & Liquidity, Syndications, FP&A, Accounting, and Tax.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with leasing leaders to craft financial blueprints, analyze performance, and inform critical decisions.
- Driving Growth: Fuel expansion by supporting market and growth strategy analysis, working hand-in-hand with the Commercial team.
- Tax Expertise: Ensure seamless delivery of tax reporting, filing, and documentation.
- Liquidity Assurance: Partner with Treasury to safeguard liquidity and maintain financial flexibility.
- Operational Excellence: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, streamline processes, and optimize cost-efficiency.
- Global Impact: Contribute to company-wide finance initiatives, such as data structure redesigns and implementations.
- Talent Development: Build and nurture high-performing teams, empowering them to excel in Treasury & Liquidity, FP&A, Accounting, and Tax.
Your Profile:
- Academic Excellence: Strong academic background, ideally with a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. An MBA and/or CFA is highly preferred.
- Proven Leadership: min15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience within a public company setting.
- Strategic Vision: Exceptional strategic and analytical capabilities, demonstrated in diverse business environments.
- Talent Magnet: Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of IFRS and interpreting complex financial data.
- Collaborative Spirit: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
