Financial Controller
My client is an expanding Irish sme, headquarted in West Dublin. They are currently in the early stages of their next growth phase and are looking to hire a commercially focused Financial Controller, to support the Managing Director.
Responsibilities
Salary: €90k - €100k plus benefits.
Hybrid working available.
My client is an expanding Irish sme, headquarted in West Dublin. They are currently in the early stages of their next growth phase and are looking to hire a commercially focused Financial Controller, to support the Managing Director.
Responsibilities
- Prepare forecasts, budgets and cash flow statements
- Ownership of month-end reporting provided by accounts to review and analysis
- Work with the MD to develop robust/realistic budgets and a three-year business plan.
- Maintain, along with other functional departments, the weekly report, measuring the key performance indicators and analysis of the business
- Develop insightful reports to better understand profitability by customer and services
- Calculating and monitoring the Key Performance Indicators of the Business
- Works with MD on new projects, such as developing new sites required
- An input into systems within the business.
- You have experience in successfully running and growing a business.
- A good understanding of e-commerce is also a prerequisite as our business grows through this channel.
- An energetic leader, you can manage a team effectively to achieve the business's goals.
- As this is a small team, you must demonstrate that you can be innovative and operate effectively with high flexibility.
- You are a target-driven individual with a strong track record of delivery.
- Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years’ pqe
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Proven experience in producing forecasts, budgets and cash flow statements.
- Experience in delivering month end close, financial reporting and analysis processes.
- Commercially focused.
- Ability to develop insightful reports to aid decision making.
Salary: €90k - €100k plus benefits.
