My client – A leading global credit specialist, is seeking to hire an Investment Operations Analyst to join their team in Dublin city. In this role you will perform key operational tasks such as identifying and resolving complex transactions and fund structures, liaising with fund trustees on cash availability, and addressing deal funding issues. The team drives critical functions such as daily cash and position reconciliations, works closely with internal finance departments and external administrators to resolve financial reporting challenges, implementing effective solutions for long-term operational improvements. The firm invests across the capital structure and in a wide range of credit strategies, including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, distressed debt, private lending, structured products, non-performing loans, and equities. Initially this role will be offered on a 12 month contract basis however there is strong scope for permanency during this contract.

Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to investor relations, finance, and fund management teams across diverse investment platforms.
- Daily reconciliation of cash and positions with custodians.
- Tracking daily trading activity and reconciling administrator data.
- Identify and research complex transactions and fund structures, providing clear communication to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Resolve issues related to deal funding and subsequent credit activity, ensuring alignment with operational workflows.
- Liaise with fund trustees on cash availability and funding requirements.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in loans or private credit.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with a strong academic background.
- Strong understanding of reconciliation processes, cash management, and fund accounting.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage high-volume transactions and competing deadlines.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify and address discrepancies in data or processes.
- Familiarity with Advent Geneva is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office – Excel.
