Title: Newly Qualified Accountant
My client, operates in construction services and is the well-established market leader in their niche area servicing both the Irish and European markets. They service large construction products by designing bespoke solutions for their main contractors on site.
Due to continued growth they are now seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their team, based in Dublin City. This role reports to the Finance Manager.
The Job:
• Support the preparation of monthly Management Accounts for numerous entities
• Reconciling and posting accounts.
• Bank, Creditor and Debtor reconciliations
• Cashflow Management
• Budget preparation and Variance Analysis
• Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions
• Preparation and Maintaining of the Fixed Asset Register
• Other Ad Hoc responsibilities on request
The Person:
• Part Qualified Accountant studying towards qualified membership of a professional body ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• 2 years’ experience working in accounting or finance roles.
• Ambitious self-starter with positive attitude, committed to pursuing a career in accountancy and a desire to progress within the organisation
• Detail orientated with strong financial and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
