VP Technology - Digital
As VP Tech you will lead the technology vision and strategy during a critical phase of growth.
You will lead the conversation, challenge and oversee the development of our next generation digital platform, ensuring scalability, security, and innovation.
You’ll will work closely with the engineering and cross-functional teams to align technology strategy with key business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Solutions Leadership – Lead and Drive the conversation around the next generation solution with key clients.
- Drive the technology workshops – Outlining what the sector is doing? – Why they need to look at it? Advise and Influence .
- Build strong key stakeholder engagement and management – Earn their trust.
- Technical Leadership: Develop and execute a scalable, forward-thinking technology roadmap.
- Oversee platform architecture, ensuring flexibility, performance, and security.
- Partner with Product Management to design and deliver innovative features.
- Infrastructure and Security: Manage cloud infrastructure and ensure operational stability.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of Financial Services industry trends, introducing emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Align technical initiatives with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
Experience:
- 10+ years in a senior engineering leadership role (e.g., CTO, Head of Engineering, Head of DevOps) and/or a Technology Consultant / Director at the Big4 (providing services to FS).
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of modern Digital / Mobile architecture and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong background in software – backend, frontend, databases, legacy systems, API development, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and inspire high-performing engineering teams. Experience implementing Agile methodologies and driving team alignment.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Financial Services / Banking sector-platforms-solutions is a significant advantage.
