We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our client team.
In this role, you will ensure their IT systems run smoothly, support users with technical issues, and keep the infrastructure secure and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- IT System Management: Oversee and maintain key systems, including Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and tools like OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams. Monitor email systems to ensure security and efficiency.
- User and Device Support: Set up and support laptops, mobile devices, and meeting room technology. Provide remote and on-site assistance for user queries and technical issues.
- Security and Backup: Implement and manage backup tools, security software, and system updates to protect against threats and ensure data safety.
- Network and Connectivity: Maintain and troubleshoot internet connections, internal networks, and VPNs to ensure smooth communication and accessibility.
- Specialised Tools and Equipment: Support additional systems, such as printers, financial software, and other business tools as needed.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, Azure, and related tools.
- Knowledge of backup and replication tools (e.g., VEEAM, VMware DR).
- Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, and VPN technologies.
- Familiarity with endpoint protection tools like CrowdStrike.
It would be a big Plus if you have experience/knowledge in the following skills:
- Experience with financial systems (SUN accounts, Salmon Treasury, OneStream).
- Knowledge of remote management tools (Action1, NinjaOne, ManageEngine Endpoint Central).
- Printer support experience (Ricoh, Brother).
