The Panel is delighted to be working exclusively with Irish Funds to recruit a Regulation & Policy Senior Specialist to join their Dublin based organization
The main purpose of this role is to support initiatives on areas identified as important for the funds and asset management industry and you will work closely with policy makers and ensure policy positions are communicated in a clear and concise manner.
This is an exciting varied project focused position that will suit a high energy candidate with 5- 7 years Funds industry experience.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the monitoring and tracking of public policy and regulatory developments at EU and domestic level impacting the investment funds and asset management industry, ensuring the daily summary is circulated internally.
- Support the Policy and Regulatory Team in curating, drafting and disseminating technical and regulatory information for members and the wider funds industry community.
- Be available to assist the development of regulatory initiatives/commentary with the relevant internal teams to support industry communication.
- Lead the drafting of notes following CBI quarterly meetings.
- Assist with the preparation of briefing papers, policy positions and responses to public consultations.
- Assist in responding to member queries and fulfilling information requests and supporting Member Services and Knowledge Hub in responding to queries where necessary.
- Ensure the internal policy and regulatory tracking database is updated weekly.
Requirements
- 5 - 7 years experience in a Depositary, Risk, Compliance or Onboarding function in a Funds or preferably Manco entity.
- Strong knowledge and exposure to UCITS and Alternatives products and frameworks
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions
- Ability to harness multiple relationships and communicate effectively
- Strong Project Management skills
