Our client – a global fund manager is seeking to hire a Senior Compliance professional that aspires of becoming a DP. This role sits within a dynamic Compliance Team, reporting directly to the Head of Compliance in Ireland. It offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to a broad range of compliance activities, including:

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Compliance Team and Designated Person (DP) in fulfilling CP86-related responsibilities, including management function reporting.
- Maintaining and executing tasks outlined in the Compliance Calendar.
- Providing guidance on distribution and mandate compliance by recommending proactive measures to mitigate violations or noncompliance. Leading the development of action plans for remediation as needed.
- Assisting in drafting and updating compliance policies and procedures, ensuring all documentation and manuals remain current and well-distributed.
- Keeping up-to-date with the regulatory environment, including UCITS and Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) guidance, and offering expertise on compliance-related issues.
- Contributing to collaborative projects with European Compliance and Risk teams to strengthen the oversight of delegation arrangements.
- Building strong, collaborative relationships within the organization and with external stakeholders to enhance the compliance framework.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a compliance role, ideally within a ManCo, Designated Person support function, Fund Admin, Banking, Insurance or Asset Management setting.
- A strong academic background, with an undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Detailed knowledge of CP86, UCITS, and CBI regulatory guidance desirable.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the investment industry and evolving regulatory requirements.
