Candidates will be qualified and with experience in Asset/Investment Management looking for a change or in Fund Administration looking to move into Asset Management.
The Job
- Oversight and financial control of regulated entities.
- Managing operational transaction flow, financial control, and NAV production for investment fund structures and related entities.
- Oversight of third-party fund administrators, including management of period-end NAV delivery for various investment funds.
- Monitoring the performance of Investment Partnerships, including cashflow forecasting and variance analysis.
- Driving the valuations process in collaboration with Investment Partnerships.
- Financial modelling, reporting, and analysis of Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) structures.
- Preparing statutory and regulatory financial reports and managing components of the group audit.
- Building strong relationships with the group’s Investment Partnerships to understand their commercial requirements.
- Supporting new fund and/or new product launches.
- Identifying cost savings and efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Collaborating with senior team members to develop improved operating guidelines and procedures.
The Candidate
- A bachelor’s degree and significant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field (professional accounting qualification preferred).
- Experience dealing with operational and financial control matters for investment funds.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend actions to senior management.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
- Capability to drive change and process improvements.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and sound commercial judgment.
- Strong management skills with the ability to develop junior team members.
- Python knowledge would be a distinct advantage.
