My client is a fast growing company based in South Dublin.
This is a new role in the organisation with significant exposure to the Senior Leadership Team. A key aspect of the role will be delivering on time project profitability reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis; interacting actively with the business and the broader finance team to achieve this objective.

A key aspect of the role will be delivering on time project profitability reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis; interacting actively with the business and the broader finance team to achieve this objective.
Main duties:
- Own monthly and quarterly project profitability reporting; liaising actively with the business and with the broader finance team to achieve this objective.
- Support the definition & development of business processes, including business technologies, in relation to project profitability and drive compliance with said processes.
- Own monthly & quarterly analysis of project performance v. expectation, at a project and divisional level.
- Support monthly accounting processes in relation to project profitability, i.e., revenue & cost / accrual recognition. Take a leading role in the production of monthly Financial, CEO reports and other reports/analysis required by key stakeholders (BU leaders, Boards, and company senior management) to support informed decision making.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies, leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation.
- Form close working relationship with key stakeholders across the business, ensuring co-operation and collaboration.
- Support internal & external audit requirements in relation to project profitability and other areas of responsibility.
- Own the kick off of new projects from a revenue and cost accounting perspective, including ensuring agreed contractual invoice schedules and 3rd party cost contributors are identified and set up on the tracking systems.
- Support other finance ad hoc projects as required.
The person:
- Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3-5 years’ post qualification experience
- Experienced communicator, credible at FD, MD and Leadership team level.
- Experienced in managing multiple stakeholders from different organisational functions to meet a common objective.
- Strong Irish GAAP Accounting Experience, specifically FRS 102
- Strong revenue recognition experience
- Strong time management skills to manage multiple tasks and multiple demands in a busy commercial environment.
- Experience in the construction/technology industry is desirable.
