My client, a leading international law and professional services firm based in Dublin city centre is looking for an experienced finance assistant to join their team. This role will report directly into the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices daily for all fee-earning departments
- Ensure accurate VAT recording
- Work with teams to clarify billing rules and regulations
- Perform WIP and AR reconciliations as needed
- Prepare and set up payments for bi-monthly payment runs
- Reconcile credit card transactions and process payments monthly
- Ensure supplier accounts are reconciled and up to date
- Perform monthly intercompany and vendor account reconciliations
- Maintain AP invoice and employee expense postings in a timely manner
- Prepare reconciliations: Client accounts – daily, Office accounts – weekly
Requirements:
- 3+ years as an Accounts/Finance Assistant with AP, Billing & Banking experience (essential)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (essential)
- Ability to evaluate systems, suggest improvements, and implement changes
- Law firm experience (essential)
